Job Title: Salesforce Reporting Specialist Contract Contract Duration: 4 months plus extension Team: Core Salesforce Operations About the Role Our client, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Reporting Specialist to join our core Salesforce Operations team on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Sales Cloud reports and dashboards , potentially leveraging Power BI via our enterprise data lake. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience, excels at translating business requirements into actionable reports, and can present data in ways that drive decision-making. This is a hands-on role where you will act as the go-to expert for reporting, working collaboratively with global teams and end users. Key Responsibilities Build & Customize Reports/Dashboards: Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Sales Cloud reports and dashboards aligned with business needs and strategy. Ensure Data Accuracy & Integrity: Validate report data against source systems, implement best practices for naming, categorization, and report refresh, and collaborate with the Data Operations Manager as needed. Consult with Global COE & End Users: Partner with the Global Reporting COE to enhance reporting objects and templates. Engage with Marketing, Operations, leadership, and client-facing teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. User Support & Training: Serve as the Salesforce reporting expert during the contract period. Provide guidance, training, and documentation for self-service reporting. Coach and upskill the Salesforce Core team on reporting best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field preferred. Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification is a plus. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Sales Cloud , focused on building and managing reports and dashboards. Proficient in translating business requirements into technical reporting solutions . Strong understanding of Sales Cloud objects and relationships (Leads, Opportunities, Accounts, etc.). Experience working with Power BI and integrating data from external sources, such as enterprise data lakes, is an asset. Excellent communication, collaboration, and consulting skills. Ability to manage multiple reporting requests, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Professional services firm experience is an asset. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment. Comfortable working with large, complex datasets to identify trends, outliers, and actionable insights. Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results under deadlines.
