Job Description

Role: Business Process Analyst12 Months contract The Business Process Analyst (BPA) will serve as a key resource within the Project Management Office (PMO), collaborating across departments to analyze business needs, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The BPA may support multiple projects concurrently. This role combines the strategic insight of a Business Analyst with the operational focus of a Process Analyst. Reporting directly to the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO), the role will be a shared resource working across departments. What you will be doing: (Candidate must be able to clearly highlight when, where you have similar experience to the below) Requirements Gathering & Analysis:Engage stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology solutions.Process Mapping & Optimization:Document current-state workflows and design future-state processes.Identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and model anticipated business benefits.Data & Impact Analysis:Conduct gap analyses and assess impacts of proposed changes.Support decision-making with clear documentation and reporting, preparing business case content as needed.Collaboration & Communication:Work well with both business and technology leadership.Plan and facilitate workshops, meetings, one-on-one sessions, etc. as appropriate for efficient deliverable development and change adoption.Governance & Compliance:Ensure adherence to Records and Information Management guidelines.Maintain content for the Business Process Library.Need candidates local to Vancouver and authorized to work in Canada.
