Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Grassie, ON. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost control, prepare bills of quantities (BOQ), manage cost planning and reporting, and ensure accurate cost management throughout project lifecycles. The role involves working collaboratively with project teams, assessing financial risks, and ensuring cost efficiency and budget adherence in all construction-related activities. Qualifications Expertise in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to ensure financial oversight and project adherence to budgetsProficiency in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed cost breakdownsSkills in Cost Planning and Cost Management for effective forecasting and resource allocationStrong analytical and numerical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detailAbility to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and project stakeholdersProven understanding of construction methods, contracts, and industry standardsA degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related fieldProfessional certification or membership with a relevant body (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is an assetExperience in the construction or engineering industry, preferably with complex projects
