Parts and Service Coordinator Pay: CA$18.00-CA$28.00 per hour Job description: Our client is a Heavy Equipment supplier specializing in new and used equipment for the construction industry. They offer technical support, rentals, sales, RPOs, tooling and wear parts. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented branch that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The parts and service coordinator is an important position within their service department, not only ensuring that they have the supplies and information to keep their equipment available but in maintaining their customers'' requirements. Job Responsibilities Provide excellent customer relations by phone, email and face-to-face interactions. Provide administrative, warranty, and invoicing support. Oversee parts inventory for service operations, maintaining optimal stock levels to meet demands. Enter work orders for internal machines, allocate parts to specific work orders. Monitor and track outstanding parts orders. Work cross-functionally with other departments to facilitate timely repairs. Source and procure parts from suppliers efficiently and cost-effectively. Keep precise inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy. Implement best practices for inventory storage and organization. Work with service technicians to anticipate parts needs for upcoming service. Analyze inventory trends to inform stock management decisions. Ensure safe storage and handling of parts and equipment. Provide top-notch customer service by addressing parts-related inquiries promptly. Key Qualifications: Ability to provide excellent customer relations while keeping a positive attitude. Proficient in organization and process fulfillment, attention to detail, and paperwork organization. Excellent communication and people skills on both an internal and external level. Previous experience working with technicians and in a similar and/or related parts environment. Knowledge in the creation of parts orders and work orders, developing and receiving purchase orders, inventory management, and estimate preparation. Efficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Technical aptitude of CCI equipment and operations would be considered an asset.
