Collibra Ranger Client: Big 5 Bank Location: Hybrid Downtown Toronto, Ontario Terms: 6-month contract, with possibility to extend or convert. Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday; 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Role Overview: We are seeking a Collibra Ranger / Collibra Implementation Specialist to lead and support enterprise data governance initiatives within the financial services domain. The role involves implementing Collibra solutions, configuring cataloguing frameworks, and ensuring compliance with banking-specific requirements. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities Collibra Implementations : Design, configure, and deploy Collibra Data Catalog and governance solutions tailored to banking environments. Data Governance Enablement : Establish workflows, operating models, and metadata management practices to improve data quality and accessibility. Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with business and technology teams to translate data governance needs into actionable Collibra solutions. Bias to Action : Drive initiatives forward by asking clarifying questions, resolving blockers quickly, and ensuring timely delivery. Financial Services Alignment : Apply industry-specific knowledge to meet regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements. Documentation & Training : Provide clear documentation and knowledge transfer to business users and technical teams. Must-Have Skills Proven experience with Collibra Implementations (cataloguing, workflows, banking configurations). Strong bias to action proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable engaging stakeholders. Background in financial services (banking, insurance, capital markets). Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with Collibra Privacy product (data protection, compliance workflows). Familiarity with Collibra Marketplace (solution accelerators, reusable assets). Hands-on Collibra migration experience (upgrades, platform transitions). Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Collibra certifications (Ranger, Workflow Engineer, Catalog Specialist) preferred.
