What will your typical day look like? As a Consultant in the Nation Building Advisory Practice, your primary responsibility will be to support the team in delivering projects and meeting client expectations. You will play an essential role in assisting with the execution of strategic advisory services for Indigenous Nations, ensuring that project objectives are met on time and within scope. Youll work closely with senior team members to support business development efforts and contribute to the overall success of client engagements. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting the development and delivery of Nationbuilding projects in areas such as governance, administration, economic development and social services, while assisting in the design and implementation of solutions in sectors such as infrastructure and major projects, health care, education, and child welfare that align with the priorities of Indigenous communities. Assisting project teams with gathering and analyzing data to develop evidencebased findings. Researching and synthesizing information to create concise, executivestyle summaries to support decisionmaking and client presentations. Collaborating with senior team members to help prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations that reflect the priorities of Indigenous communities. Supporting client communication and relationshipbuilding efforts to ensure project alignment and client satisfaction. Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with client needs. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely; however, its important to note that some travel may be required to fulfill job responsibilities. The extent and frequency of travel will depend on specific project needs and collaboration requirements. Enough about us, lets talk about you Selfidentify as Indigenous (First Nations, Mtis, Inuk) in Canada. Have 2-4 years of experience in consulting, public policy, or working with Indigenous Nations and organizations. Hold a degree or diploma in a relevant field such as business, public administration, Indigenous studies, or a related discipline. Possess deep experience working with Indigenous communities, including a strong understanding of governance structures, cultural values, traditions, and social dynamics. Demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to build trust and work respectfully in collaboration with Indigenous communities. Are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint for creating professional presentations and Excel for analyzing and managing data. Have experience synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data and large amounts of information into concise, actionable insights and executivestyle reports. Work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to projects in governance, strategy, and operations while ensuring collaboration and alignment. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences. Exhibit a strong willingness to learn and grow professionally while contributing to meaningful projects that support Indigenous Nations. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
