It delivers high-quality, integrated primary health care through an interdisciplinary team that includes primary care providers, mental health clinicians, health promoters, and community support professionals.Key RelationshipsReports To: Chief Executive OfficerPosition DescriptionThe Coordinator/Lead, Office of the CEO & Governance Affairs, provides leadership to governance operations and executive coordination functions. This role ensures the effective functioning of the CEOs office, strengthens board governance and compliance processes, and enables strategic alignment across the organization.Key AccountabilitiesGovernance Leadership Lead coordination and administration of board and committee meetingsOversee agenda development, briefing materials, minutes, and follow-up trackingMaintain governance records, policies, charters, and compliance documentationSupport board recruitment, onboarding, and annual governance processesEnsure adherence to best practices in non-profit governanceExecutive Operations & Advisory SupportManage the workflow, priorities, and communications of the CEOs officePrepare executive briefings, backgrounders, and strategic documentsSupport CEO engagement with external partners, funders, and stakeholdersEnsure alignment of organizational activities with CEO directionCross-Departmental CoordinationTrack organizational priorities, ensuring follow-up and timely executionServe as a liaison between the CEO and internal departmentsSupport integration of major initiatives, reporting cycles, and organizational planningCommunication & DocumentationDraft executive-level correspondence and communications on behalf of the CEOEnsure consistent, high-quality documentation standards across governance processesMaintain confidential files, sensitive records, and risk-related documentationLeadership & Decision SupportProvide guidance on governance trends, risks, and compliance issuesRecommend improvements to governance processes and structuresRepresent the CEOs office in internal meetings when delegatedQualifications Bachelor's degree in health administration, public administration, business, or equivalentAdditional governance training (e.g., GPC designation) considered an asset57 years in governance, executive operations, or senior administrative leadershipExperience supporting or managing boards/committees in non-profit or public sectorProven ability to work with senior leaders and sensitive informationStrong governance and compliance knowledgeExceptional writing, communication, and analytical skillsAdvanced organizational and project management abilitiesAbility to work with high levels of discretion and sound judgmentStrong relationship-building and coordination skills
