Dillon Consulting: EngiQueers Canada Graduate ScholarshipApply for the Dillon Consulting: EngiQueers Canada Graduate Scholarship, a one-time $7,500 scholarship that includes a full-time employment offer and up to two additional $2,000 scholarships in partnership with EngiQueers Canada.The position is located at any Dillon Canadian office, with flexible work hours to balance work and personal life.ResponsibilitiesDesign and CoordinationAssist project managers with a variety of multi-disciplinary projects.Help prepare technical designs, including engineering studies, specifications, and design calculations.Draft new and ongoing projects using relevant design software (e.g., CAD).Complete design activities to maintain project schedules and ensure successful project completion.Field and Site WorkAssist with site investigations and condition assessments.Assist with contract administration tasks such as construction layout, observation, reviewing contractor submittals, preparing progress payments, and responding to information requests.Professional and Team CollaborationComplete reviews of safe work practices and perform risk assessments.Collaborate with team members from multiple disciplines.Contribute to business development activities, including researching client needs and preparing proposals and presentations.Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees.Travel to other Dillon offices for business as required.Learning and DevelopmentParticipate in the Early Career Development program.Commit to self-development and ongoing learning.QualificationsMembership in EngiQueers Canada.Graduation from a University Program in 2026.One to two years of coop or work experience with exposure to consulting is considered an asset.ExperienceKnowledge of relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, specifications, and good engineering practices is considered an asset.Understanding of project design and implementation activitiesincluding development of design drawings and reports, preparing contract documents, tendering, and contract administrationis considered an asset.Proficiency in current design software (e.g., CAD); working knowledge of other relevant modeling or design software is considered an asset.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written).Why choose DillonDillon is powered by people who are technically proficient, passionate about socially important projects, and motivated to deliver superior, tangible results.
