About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled, detail-orientedFabricatorto join our production team and support the delivery of high-quality custom metal projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, understands fabrication processes from start to finish, and thrives in a fast-paced, solution-focused manufacturing environment.You will work closely with our welders, project managers, and operations team to build structural, architectural, and custom components with precision and consistency.Key ResponsibilitiesFabrication & ProductionInterpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders with accuracyMeasure, cut, fit, and assemble components using a variety of metal-working toolsPrepare materials using saws, grinders, shears, and CNC equipment (as applicable)Fit and tack assemblies for welding (MIG / FCAW experience preferred)Ensure all manufactured parts meet quality specifications and tolerance requirementsQuality & SafetyInspect completed work for accuracy, alignment, and quality standardsFollow shop safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspaceIdentify issues proactively and communicate solutions to the teamCollaboration & WorkflowWork closely with welders and project leads to ensure efficient production flowAssist with shop organization, inventory, and general operational improvementsContribute to a positive team culture focused on precision, accountability, and continuous improvementRequired Experience & Qualifications5+ years of fabrication or metalworking experiencein a shop environmentStrong understanding of fabrication fundamentals: measuring, layout, fitting, cutting, grindingAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsProficiency with fabrication tools (bandsaw, grinders, drills, brake/shear, clamps, squares)Experience fitting components for MIG/FCAW weldingStrong problem-solving and independent decision-making skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding workExcellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanshipPreferred (Asset) SkillsRed Seal Welding or Metal Fabrication education/trainingCNC plasma table experienceForklift certification and general material-handling knowledgeExperience with stainless steel and aluminum fabricationKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing / 2-Second Lean principlesPrevious work in architectural or structural fabrication environments
