We are currently seeking a Journeyman Welder: with Millwright experience to join our West Edmonton team. The challenges we have for you:: Duties are approximately 90% repair welding and 10% new fabrication Ability to perform various welding techniques, including MIG or Stick, flame cutting and air arc Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, and grinding Repair of highway trailers Repair of large and small scrap metal bins Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow all safety policies and procedures Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor The skills we are looking for: Mechanically inclined with proven experience with repairs Previous Millwright training and experience considered preferred Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities Strong verbal/written communication skills Ability to work safely and maintain a safe working environment A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Journeyman Welder certificate Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform certification would be considered an asset Company Offers: Dental care Vision care Life insurance RRSP match Disability insurance On site parking Competitive compensation Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment Positive work/life balance Monday to Friday
