Key Responsibilities & General Duties Select appropriate stain or mix stains using automated mixing equipment according to a pre-determined formula Tend to or operate equipment to clean, wash, strip, sand, remove corrosion, fill dents or otherwise prepare items for application of stain finishes Tend to or operate automated sprayer, or flow coating equipment, other mechanized staining methods or product coating application equipment Should be familiar with post-cat lacquers and other solvent base related materials Have previous knowledge using airless spray systems. Clean and maintain painting and coating, ventilation, compressed air and personal protective equipment. Mark, record, and report defects. What We Offer Competitive Wages Benefits Package Great Work Environment Family-Owned Company Growth opportunity in an expanding company Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a finisher with proficient experience in applying stains Must have previous experience with spray stains, wiping stains, solid colours (Including primer), and clear coats (sealer and lacquer) High quality attention to detail with a critical eye for identifying defects Experience and ability in reading and understanding measurements and mixing proportions Physically able to lift and carry objects up to 75 lbs. Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Effective verbal and listening communications skills. Time management skills. Commitment to quality and safety. Ability to readily determine the correct tools and equipment needed to do a job. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor.
