Role Overview: We are seeking a Project Engineer / Technical Support Specialist who can bridge engineering, production, and customer support. This role combines project coordination, quality control, 3D CAD competence, onsite technical assistance, and troubleshooting for mechanical lifting systems. The ideal candidate is a practical problem-solver who enjoys being both in the office and on the factory floor, supporting builds, installations, and customer-site commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Provide engineering and technical support throughout the full project lifecycle Assist with system design, development, documentation, and revisions Collaborate with internal teams (design, machining, welding, assembly) Perform inspections and quality assurance during fabrication and final assembly Support system testing, load verification, and compliance checks Maintain and improve QA documentation and procedures Work with 3D CAD models and assemblies Review, edit, and release drawings for fabrication Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and technical specifications Support onsite commissioning, installation, and system integration Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components of lift systems Communicate with customers to resolve technical concerns and ensure satisfaction Qualifications: Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering diploma/degree 3D CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical systems Strong hands-on and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Valid driver''s license, passport and willingness to travel regularly Nice-to-Haves: Experience with cranes, hoists, or automation Exposure to welding/fabrication, machining, or equipment commissioning What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Varied, hands-on projects in a growing company Supportive, collaborative work environment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 48 per week Benefits: Company events Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Paid time off Work Location: In person
