Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting Various locations Tasks Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Support for persons with disabilities Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities Support for newcomers and refugees Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees Support for youths Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Support for Veterans Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans Support for Indigenous people Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers Support for mature workers Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers Supports for visible minorities Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
