What you will do We''re excited to expand our services to Stratford In this role, you''ll lead the daily operations of the Employment Services, building the team and program from the ground up. You''ll foster a positive, empowering environment where staff are supported and equipped to help clients find meaningful employment. You will coordinate staffing and resources while building strong relationships with local employers, funders, and community partners to enhance program offerings. Additionally, you will oversee the disbursement of financial support to clients and ensure accurate reporting for both the YMCA and funders. Supporting your team in their day-to-day work, you will guide them through challenges, encourage innovation, and ensure smooth operations. Your role will also include managing program budgets, evaluating service delivery methods, and leading quality assurance efforts to continuously improve outcomes. You will cultivate strong internal and external partnerships, fostering collaboration to enhance the impact of Employment Services. Communication and professional growth will be key priorities, as you maintain open dialogue within the YMCA, engage with stakeholders, and stay informed about job market trends through workshops, trainings, and conferences. What you will bring Completion of post-secondary education in related field. 35 years of experience in employment services, with a strong understanding of workforce development and client-centered approaches 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, monitor financial processes, and ensure compliance with funding agreements Experience in building and sustaining partnerships with employers, funders, and community organizations Knowledge of local labour market trends and ability to apply data-driven insights to program development Strong administrative and office management skills, including resource planning and quality assurance Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital tools for virtual service delivery Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders Experience implementing inclusive practices and fostering a culture aligned with JAIDE principles Ability to communicate in a second language is an asset A valid driver''s license and reliable transportation are required Ability to work in a virtual and hybrid environment Acceptable Police Check What you will gain You will be part of and an organization that has a massive impact across our community.
