Millwright Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Millwright/Fabricator/Welder/Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and fabricating equipment and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge in mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, and preventive maintenance. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Millwright Duties: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment. Align and balance rotating equipment using precision tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Dismantle and move machinery as needed. Fabrication & Welding: Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding on a variety of metals (steel, stainless, aluminum, etc.). Fabricate parts and structures using cutting, bending, and assembling techniques. Operate fabrication tools such as shears, press brakes, grinders, and plasma cutters. Ensure all welding and fabrication work meets safety and quality standards. Maintenance Technician Duties: Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues. Replace bearings, seals, belts, chains, and other mechanical components. Document all repairs and maintenance activities. Assist with upgrades and modifications to equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school or certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, millwright work, or welding/fabrication. Proficient in reading technical schematics and mechanical drawings. Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication tools. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments. Preferred Skills: Certifications in welding (e.g., AWS) or millwright trades. Forklift, scissor lift, or crane operation experience. Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, wiring). Experience with CNC or automated machinery (bonus). 1. Working conditions 8hrs afternoon shift primarily Monday to Friday Will be times when the incumbent will be required to work during non-conventional hours. Must be willing to work OT as necessary.
