We are a national charity. Our programs are free, we dont take any equity, and we are sector and model-agnostic. We offer accessible programs across Canada, delivered virtually with in-person meetups throughout the year including events, conferences, AMAs, and awards. Our mission is to shorten the path to success for founders by helping them learn directly from other founders. We offer programming for founders who are just learning about entrepreneurship to scaling Canadas up and coming all star companies.We are a small, dynamic, fast-moving team that works closely with hundreds of young entrepreneurs across the country each year.We have also opened North House (joinnorthhouse.com), Vancouvers first space exclusively for all-in founders. It is a co-working environment designed to support collaboration, productivity, and founder growth, and it also hosts occasional programming and community gatherings.The RoleWere looking for a Program & Community Coordinator whos excited to support founders, keep programs running smoothly, and help build an engaged, thriving community. This role is perfect for someone who loves startups, learns quickly, and isnt afraid to wear many hats. LOI is a place where you get to see how great companies are built from the inside, connect with incredible people, and play a meaningful role in helping the next generation of entrepreneurs succeed.What Youll DoHelp run LOIs flagship virtual programs (E101, Labs, Boost) supporting the planning, execution, and debrief of sessions that feature world-class founders and operators. Youll often coordinate directly with speakers like Ryan Holmes, Brian Scudamore, Tara Bosch, and other top leaders in the Canadian startup ecosystem.Manage key administrative and communication tasks including speaker and founder emails, calendar invites, scheduling, and keeping founders informed, prepared, and accountable (attendance, surveys, next steps).Engage with our founder community through onboarding calls, Slack updates, venture package coordination, and sharing relevant resources and opportunities.Support North House operations (if based in Vancouver) helping run the day-to-day of the space, greeting founders, coordinating events, and contributing to the energy and culture of the community.Keep program materials, databases, and schedules organized and up to date, ensuring a smooth experience for founders and speakers.Grow into a facilitation role by gradually learning how to lead program sessions, with the goal of eventually taking on a more visible role in program delivery.Collaborate with the LOI team and jump in wherever needed this is a true startup-paced, community-driven environment where everyone contributes.Who You AreYoure excited about entrepreneurship and curious about startups in all industriesYou thrive in fast-moving environmentsYoure organized and keep things on trackYou communicate clearly across email, Slack, and scheduling toolsYoure comfortable with admin and operational tasksYou enjoy working with people and building communityYou take initiative, work independently, and are outcome-focusedYou like small teams where your work has real impactNice to HaveBased in Vancouver (to support North House), but not requiredExperience with accelerators, events, community roles, or operationsYouve started something yourself or naturally think like an entrepreneurWell be reviewing applications on a rolling basis until the right candidate is selected.
