The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools. Responsibilities: Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structures Prepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural engineering projects Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports Provide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designs Develop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirements Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements Working with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.
