Job Description

General Summary The Associate, Human Resources provides administrative and operational support across HR functions, including hourly recruiting, onboarding, performance management, unemployment claims, and HR metrics reporting. This role partners with employees and leadership to strengthen HR programs and ensure compliance with product safety, quality, and legality standards. Primary Responsibilities Schedule, prepare, and facilitate logistics for new employee orientation and onboarding. Provide administrative support across HR policies, procedures, and programs. Assist employees with HR-related questions and escalate complex matters to appropriate resources. Advise HR leadership on emerging issues and recommend solutions. Support employee relations reviews and provide recommendations to HR leadership. Enhance and assist with internal training programs aligned with long-term HR goals. Administer hourly recruiting, sourcing, screening, and applicant dispositioning. Maintain job and personnel files in compliance with record retention policies. Administer the performance management program and support design reviews. Prepare and respond to unemployment claims. Generate HR reports for government and management requirements. Distribute required federal, state, and local HR-related notices. Assist HR and management in strengthening HR programs, policies, and processes. Education and Experience Bachelor''s degree in human resources or related discipline required In lieu of bachelor''s degree, high school diploma or GED, and 2 - 4 years of experience in a Human Resources role or associate degree and 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources Role. PHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred. Strong knowledge of HR-related best practices, government regulations and industry standards. Familiarity with all HR related regulations required. Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems strongly preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Customer service driven. Strong team player.
