**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES** - Assist guests and respond to inquiries. - Monitor the spa and quiet zone, ensure guests are following protocols. - Empty change room laundry receptacles in the proper location. - Ensure adequate cleaning supplies are always on hand and advise the supervisor if supplies are running low. - Ensure fires are always stocked by moving wood from the bins to all fire locations with a wagon throughout the day/evening. - Ensure Sauna fires and outdoor fires are always burning, keeping saunas at temperature. - Ensure saunas and steam rooms are functioning appropriately for Vett guests (add wood/water when required) - Sweep, mop and squeegee floors in buildings and outside in the spa area, cleaning windows, walls and doors - Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are always kept clean and tidy by cleaning mirrors, toilets, showers, soap dispensers, floors, etc. - Replenish supplies in restrooms, such as soap dispensers, toilet paper, towels, shampoo, and all other amenities supplied. - Replenish supplies in locker rooms and pick up towels and place them in laundry area. - Occasional night cleaning duties. - Collect garbage and recycling items around the Spa grounds and put in appropriate containers. - Assist with minor repairs as required. - Perform routine maintenance activities around Vett Spa building and grounds. - Comply with all Health and Safety procedures. - Shovel and salt as required in Winter season - Deep cleaning as required. - Other duties as assigned. **WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL.** - Previous experience in customer service - Positive, outgoing personality - Strong problem-solving skills - Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures. - Ability to stand, walk and bend over an 8-hour period. - Work safely with cleaning chemicals. - Previous cleaning at a spa or resort type environment an asset. - Required to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. - First Aid Certificate/CPR an asset - CSA Safety Shoes required for the job **WHAT WE OFFER** - On-site parking - Team member discounts and perks - Incredible team spirit in a safe and supportive work environment and an opportunity to grow with us **WORKING CONDITIONS** - Able to work in a fast-paced environment, - Comfortable walking and standing over an 8-hour period. - Work in an environment with minimal temperature control including high heat temperatures for short periods of time. - Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT** - All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada - Successful reference and criminal background checks
