Job Title

Our client is looking for a Manager, Project Engineering that will lead and manage a team of engineers on large civil projects. Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. - Oversee the Project Engineering team and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Develop and implement project management processes and best practices. - Manage Profit and Loss (P&L) for engineering projects, ensuring financial targets are met. - Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, to ensure project success. - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management. - Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. - Travel to NBM project sites and customers sites within New Brunswick and New England. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field. - Excellent leadership and team management skills. - Proven experience leading a team in the civil engineering or construction industry. - Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies. - Experience with Profit and Loss (P&L) management. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Previous commercial experience and is considered an asset. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
