Position Type: - Permanent; 40 hours per week - 8 hour shift Compensation: - $19.00-$21.00 per hour - Shift premium paid for after hours work - Life and health benefits after 90 days - Professional development opportunities Qualifications: - Supervisory and professional experience leading a crew to deliver high quality workmanship - Painting proficiency, ability to determine an appropriate colour match for paint - Ability to train, coordinate, delegate and support technicians and associates - Completion of 24-hour coaching training, OFA1 first aid, Narcan and non-crisis intervention training - Class 5 Drivers licence with driving experience and a clean drivers abstract Duties: - Be fully accountable to and work to support the activities of the MP Maintenance Teams - Work as a supervisor of the painting and graffiti removal team ensuring professionalism at all times - Conduct 90-day check ins with technicians each quarter/90 days - Help to recruit and hire for MP Maintenance Technician positions - Be available on non-scheduled shifts to support Core Team Supervisors as needed - Ensure uniform and attendance policies are followed by all - Participate in daily supervisor briefings and daily check ins - Distribute, collect and sign off on all work orders - Ensure services are being delivered with quality assurance - Communicate with customers as needed - Help with on-boarding to train new technicians - Ensure all transitional employee assessments and reviews are completed - Ensure all equipment and vehicles are being properly cared for and maintained - Provide an estimated amount of labour hours and material to complete a painting job Requirements: - Class 5 Drivers License and a clean drivers abstract - Willing to complete a Criminal Background Check - Within commuting distance of downtown Vancouver COVID-19 precaution(s): - Remote interview process - Personal protective equipment provided or required - Plastic shield at work stations - Temperature screenings - Social distancing guidelines in place - Virtual meetings - Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place We are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
