As a Senior Process Engineer, you will function as the process discipline lead on projects ranging from conceptual studies to detailed engineering of large mega projects. You will be part of our growing team, using your skills as an Engineer to design facilities across Canada and globally. We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. #WeAreWSP What you can expect to do here: - The role includes functioning as the process discipline lead on projects, managing client relationship and project quality and ensuring that budget and schedule targets are met. - Additional activities will include communication and coordination with team members, other WSP groups, equipment vendors, clients, and sub-contractors. - Preparation of technical reports, specifications, process schematics, and layout drawings, including review of deliverables produced by junior and intermediate colleagues. - Process and technology selection, equipment sizing and specification, mass balance, hydraulic analysis, 3D layout review, including review of analysis and design by junior and intermediate colleagues. - Mentoring and on-the-job training for junior and intermediate colleagues. - Project management of multiple simultaneous projects, including project resource management (in conjunction with other team seniors) and personal time management; Providing project support for other senior staff as required; Supporting the management team with budgeting, strategy development and execution, staff reviews, and delivering training programs. - Primarily hybrid-based consulting engineering work with some opportunities for business travel and fieldwork. What youll bring to WSP: - Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering. - 12+ years' experience as a process engineer within the consulting environment. Previous experience as a Lead is an asset. - Experience in oil and gas (gas processing), hydrogen, carbon capture facilities. - Current P.Eng license in your province of residence. - Experience with HYSIS or Promax software packages an asset. - Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Strong project management and discipline lead skills. #LI-Hybrid Salary range (in British Columbia): $149,800- $205,900 The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
