Enrolment and Sales Officer South Asia POSITION OVERVIEW: The role of the Enrolment and Academic Advisor (Advisor) will be to guide Alexander Colleges recruitment and marketing efforts across assigned countries within the South Asia region. The Advisor will work closely with the Marketing, Enrolment, and Academic Advising Services teams to enter new markets, strengthen existing partnerships, and drive student Enrolment from South Asia. The Advisor will represent Alexander College by conducting presentations, consultations, and outreach activities to prospective students, parents, and education agency partners. This role includes providing accurate information on academic programs, admission procedures, registration processes, and the many resources, facilities, and student opportunities available at Alexander College, including our University Transfer pathways to UBC, SFU, and other leading institutions. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Marketing and Enrolment Manager EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time, Permanent SALARY RANGE: $60,000-$80,000 (based on experience) WORK WEEK: The Employee will work during regular business hours, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours per week (not including a 30-minute unpaid meal break per day). Flexibility will be required. Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required - College operating hours are 8:00 am to 9:00 pm and shifts will either be opening or closing - Saturday day shift may be required on occasion LOCATION: The Burnaby and Vancouver Campus. Flexibility to travel between and work at both campuses will be required. Flexibility to travel within the province, across Canada, and internationally within South Asia or assigned markets will be required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Education, Communications, or a related field. - Minimum 23 years of experience in student recruitment, international education, or sales and marketing. - Demonstrated knowledge of the South Asian education landscape and student recruitment trends. - Experience working with education agents, partners, and students from diverse backgrounds. - Familiarity with CRM platforms and digital recruitment tools. - Proven ability to meet or exceed Enrolment or sales targets. QUALIFICATIONS: - Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). - Native or bilingual proficiency in English; additional South Asian languages (e.g., Hindi, Punjabi, or any regional dialect) are an asset. - Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and execute marketing and recruitment plans targeting students and agency partners in South Asia. - Represent Alexander College at education fairs, seminars, and school visits (in-person and virtual). - Conduct presentations and advising sessions for prospective students and families. - Build and maintain strategic relationships with agents, counselors, and educational institutions. - Coordinate with the Marketing and Enrolment teams to ensure accurate, consistent, and culturally relevant messaging. - Support the development of region-specific marketing materials and campaigns. - Manage and follow up with student leads through CRM systems, email, phone, and online platforms. - Track performance metrics and provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress. - Assist with student orientation and transition support when needed. - Perform other related duties as assigned by the Marketing and Enrolment Manager or the Vice President of Operations. ACADEMIC ADVISING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Student-Facing Services - Provide accurate assistance, information, and advice to students on both a virtual and a drop-in basis during office hours - Conduct all meetings with students in a helpful, friendly, and professional manner - Assist students to create education plans that best suit their needs (ex. course selection) for both associate degree completion and/or university transfer - Assist students to calculate GPA (just for an assigned person) - Assist students with university applications when transferring to other institutions - Provide advice to students who are facing academic difficulty, and refer students to other departments as needed Administrative Support - Promote Academic Advising services to students on a regular basis - Assist in maintaining the accuracy of publications, website, and other content - Attend professional development and training to maintain and update current knowledge of the program, admissions, and transfer requirements Other - Invigilate course examinations while showing reasonable flexibility with respect to scheduling during each semesters examination period How to Apply If you are interested in the above position and you would like to apply, please email your cover letter and resume with the email title being '[Your full-name]_Enrolment and Sales Officer South Asia 2025' to [email protected] .
