Job Description

IAM Lead / IAM Project Coordinator (Healthcare) Position Overview: The IAM Lead will support clinically-driven transformation initiatives by leading identity and access management activities across hospital and enterprise environments. This role requires coordinating IAM assessments, defining future-state capabilities, and ensuring IAM decisions support clinical workflows, patient safety, and system adoption. Key Responsibilities: - Lead IAM-related workstreams, including assessment of current-state capabilities, gap analyses, and planning for major system implementations. - Collaborate closely with clinicians, clinical informatics, and operational teams to identify identity, access, and authentication needs affecting clinical workflows. - Work with enterprise IAM/IGA teams to align project requirements with organizational directory services, identity lifecycle management, authentication, and access governance capabilities. - Oversee project timelines, deliverables, risk management, staffing, and status reporting. - Support integration of clinical and enterprise systems with IAM components such as MFA, SSO, directories, lifecycle tools, and access governance workflows. - Apply IAM, cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements within clinical environments. - Facilitate workshops, lead stakeholder discussions, and present IAM concepts to technical teams, clinical leadership, directors, and executives. - (Preferred) Communicate effectively in both English and French. Required Qualifications (Mandatory): - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent education/experience. - 5+ years leading IAM initiatives in large organizations. - 3+ years applying IAM in hospital/clinical environments. - 5+ years leading project teams or workstreams. - 3+ years applying IAM decisions to patient care, clinical workflows, adoption, or safety. - 5+ years working directly with enterprise IAM/IGA specialists (directories, authentication, lifecycle, access governance). Desired Skills (Scored): - 3+ years working with clinicians/clinical informatics to identify IAM-related workflow requirements. - 5+ years supporting IAM/IGA integration with clinical or enterprise systems. - 3+ years with cloud IAM platforms (Entra ID, Okta, Ping) and hybrid integrations. - 3+ years applying privacy, cybersecurity, or auditing requirements to IAM in healthcare. - 3+ years developing IAM governance processes (lifecycle, access workflows, reviews, role governance). - Experience presenting IAM topics to clinical and executive stakeholders. - Bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred. - 5+ years working with Public sector health information systems, standards, or technologies.
