Job Overview The Content Specialist will play a key role in the Marketing and Communications department, supporting the creation and execution of content that drives engagement and supports our marketing objectives. This role involves writing, translating, and editing a wide range of content, including website blogs and pages, email campaigns, reports, and scripts. The Content Specialist will also engage with the Parkinsons community, developing content that educates and informs on critical topics, ensuring our messaging resonates with and supports our audience. What Youll Be Doing Content Development and Execution Write, translate, and edit engaging content for the organization's website, including blogs and landing pages. Assist in crafting and translating compelling email campaigns that drive audience engagement and conversions. Work with the Marketing team to create dynamic social media content in that aligns with broader campaigns and brand messaging. Support the development, translation, and proofreading of reports and scripts for various marketing initiatives and multimedia content. Align all content with the brand voice, relying on Parkinson Canadas language and style guide, and brand guidelines. Community Engagement and Content SupportMonitor conversations and trends within the Parkinson's community to inform content creation. Develop responsive content that educates and supports the community. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure community insights and needs are reflected in content. Collaboration and Coordination Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure consistency in branding, messaging, and content alignment. Coordinate with various departments to gather translation needs and liaise with the organizations translation agency. Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas content development. Qualifications: EducationBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, French, or a related field. ExperienceProven experience in content writing, copywriting, or a related role. Experience in the health care sector or with non-profit organizations is an advantage. Familiarity with the Parkinson's community and related topics is a plus. Preferred SkillsBilingual (French and English) an asset.
