Title: Senior Microsoft D365 Solution Architect (Pre-Sales exp needed)Location: Remote, Full-Time Location: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Experience: Minimum 7+ years of dedicated Microsoft Pre-sales experience We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Senior Microsoft Solutions Pre-Sales Consultant to join our team in Canada. The ideal candidate will leverage deep technical expertise and strong business acumen to drive the adoption and sales of Microsoft technologies, specifically focusing on the Modern Workplace and Business Applications stack. This role is key in translating complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling business value for our enterprise clients. Core Responsibilities Solution Design & Strategy (Technical & Functional): Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), designing and architecting complex end-to-end solutions utilizing Microsoft 365 (M365), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), SharePoint (Online/Syntex), and related Microsoft Azure services. Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and high-level requirements analysis with C-level executives, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to define a clear solution roadmap. Develop technical solution documentation, architectural diagrams, statements of work (SOWs), and effort estimates. Sales Enablement & Engagement: Partner with the Sales and Account Management teams to drive pipeline growth and achieve revenue targets. Lead and deliver compelling product demonstrations, customized presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) that clearly articulate the business value and ROI of the proposed Microsoft solutions. Manage and coordinate technical responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFI submissions, ensuring compliance and a high-quality, persuasive technical narrative. Market & Product Expertise: Maintain an expert-level understanding of the latest Microsoft product roadmaps, licensing models, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies (e.g., Copilot, Viva). Provide market insights and feedback to product and delivery teams to help shape service offerings and go-to-market strategies. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on digital transformation, cloud adoption, and best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience Minimum 7+ years of direct experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consulting, or Solution Architect role focused exclusively on Microsoft products. Deep, hands-on expertise in the pre-sales activities and architecture of the following: Microsoft 365 (M365): Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Security/Compliance features (DLP, AIP, Intune). Power Platform: Significant experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. SharePoint Online: Experience with modern architecture, governance, content services, and migration strategies. Solution Architecture: Proven ability to design integrated solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies and integrating with third-party systems. Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences (including C-level). RFP/Proposal Writing: Demonstrated experience crafting winning technical proposals and SOWs. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of general business processes (e.g., CRM, ERP, HR) to align technical solutions with measurable business outcomes. Preferred Qualifications Hold one or more current Microsoft Certifications, such as: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102) Experience with other Microsoft adjacent technologies like Dynamics 365 or Azure IaaS/PaaS services.
