Involves comprehensive management of export trade compliance duties for the company and requires familiarity with local and international Government regulations. Primary responsibility is to ensure the highest level of quality order fulfillment through order receipt to product delivery of Thermo Fisher products. **Essential Functions:** u2022 Prepare and process required export documentation including but not limited to commercial invoices, export declaration, certificates of origin and/or CUSMA, bills of lading, and advanced ship notices. u2022 Resolve the eligibility of various Free Trade Agreements. u2022 Organize and follow up with internal/external customers. u2022 Co-ordinate releases with QA for shipments. u2022 Update SAP for billing purposes and scanning. u2022 Wrap, tape, and prepare small shipments. u2022 Monitor, maintain and operate CBSA websites and tools (i.e. CERS, HS Tariff Schedule, etc.) u2022 Actively participate in (CBSA) Customs, and internal Audits and other major projects as required u2022 Act as the Export Coordinator for trade compliance activities. u2022 Conduct restricted party screening of business partners. u2022 Review and follow the requirements of the Company''''s Global Trade Compliance Policy and the Global Trade Compliance Management System. u2022 Maintain a safe working environment and reports potential hazards. u2022 Perform alternating or rotating shift work as required. u2022 Travel to offsite warehouse location is required REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS **Education:** u2022 High school diploma or equivalent required **Experience:** u2022 Minimum 1 year of experience in export regulations, documentation, and compliance standards. u2022 Experience filing Canada Export Reports using CBSA websites u2022 SAP experience in the sales & distribution, planning and shipment module, preferred **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** : u2022 Familiarity with the Canada Customs Tariff and possess extensive knowledge of HTS classification. u2022 Highly organized and able to undertake and prioritize a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong attention to detail, highly efficient and effective time management skills. u2022 Work efficiently with limited supervision. u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills. u2022 Dedicated to achieving outcomes. u2022 Strong interpersonal skills u2022 Proven computer proficiency with Microsoft Office programs. u2022 Proficiency with the English Language. **Equivalency** : Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. **Standards and Expectations:u202f** Follow all Environmental Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
