Overview Fraser Health Authority (FHA) is seeking a fulltime (1.0FTE) Otolaryngologist for Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH) in Chilliwack, BC. The successful applicant will provide general Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery services, including care of pediatric patients. Responsibilities Provide 1:5 regional oncall coverage at CGH and Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre (ARHCC), sharing coverage with the existing otolaryngologist at CGH and the three otolaryngologists at ARHCC. Perform three operatingroom days every four weeks at CGH. Optionally, provide ambulatory daycare for minor procedures under local anesthesia. Participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Otolaryngology Surgery, UBC. Qualifications Medical licence (CMPA, CPSBC eligible or FRCSC eligible) provisional licence acceptable for US boardcertified physicians. Background in Otolaryngology, with an interest in otology considered an advantage. Subspecialty training in Otolaryngology not required. Compensation Fee for Service, MOCAP Oncall payments.
