Our client, a global leader in automotive parts manufacturing, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for their Vaughan facility.Work Setting: On SiteShift Schedule: Days. But can be asked to come in on an off shift or work overtime, if the business dictates it to be necessaryLocation Details: On SiteResponsibilitiesApply technical expertise to ensure that the manufacturing process is correctly created prior to product launchLead continuous improvement projectsPerform hands-on troubleshooting on equipment and use the 5Y and 8D processes to ensure that the issue doesn't repeat itself.Create standardized work instructions and train production personnel on new processes.Complete APQP-related activities and develop PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Charts, and operator instructions.Minimum RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of experience in an manufacturing environment.Experience working in a facility that has injection moulding processesAt least 2 years of work experience as a Process Engineer or as a Manufacturing EngineerA degree or diploma in mechanical or industrial engineering.Familiarity with FMEA, APQP, and DOE.Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
