Job Description

Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, ensuring reliability and compliance. Monitor and evaluate performance of thirdparty service providers against contractual KPIs, including maintenance quality, safety, and energy performance. Serve as the primary liaison for tenant service requests and operational escalations, ensuring swift and effective resolutions. Conduct regular building inspections to identify system deficiencies, plan preventive maintenance, and forecast longterm capital requirements. Partner with sustainability and engineering teams to reduce utility consumption and improve building performance through datadriven energy management. Participate in annual budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, and identifying opportunities to reduce operating costs through efficiency initiatives. Manage capital projects from conception through completion, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and within budget. Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety standards, implementing corrective measures where necessary. Participate in emergency response protocols, afterhours call rotations, and incident investigations. Requirements Postsecondary education in Engineering, Architecture, or Environmental Building Sciences (Electrical or Mechanical preferred). 5+ years of progressive experience in facilities or property operations within large, complex environments such as highrise offices, mixeduse developments, campuses, or luxury hospitality properties. Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), mechanical/electrical operations, and preventative maintenance programs. Demonstrated experience in energy management, sustainability projects, and performance optimization. Exceptional communication and relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams, vendors, and tenants. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining focus on service quality. Certifications such as RPA, FMA, or P.Eng considered assets. Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problemsolving and continuous improvement.
