Job Description

My client is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented actuarial professional to join their Property & Casualty function. This role blends actuarial analysis, business intelligence, and data storytelling, supporting key decisions across underwriting, claims, finance, and leadership. You will work with large datasets, build reporting tools, and help strengthen our actuarial insight capabilities. What Youll Be Doing - Analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to uncover trends in claims, exposure, and portfolio performance. - Support actuarial studies related to reserving, loss development, and financial projections. - Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models that provide a consistent, reliable view of business performance. - Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure analytical outputs meet operational needs. - Translate complex analyses into clear summaries, insights, and recommendations for leadership teams. - Ensure data accuracy, validation, and continuity across actuarial processes. - Assist in the adoption of new analytical tools, automation improvements, and reporting enhancements. What You Bring - Bachelors degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field. - 3+ years experience in actuarial analytics, business intelligence, or similar technical roles within insurance or financial services. - Strong SQL skills, including experience writing and optimizing complex queries. - Experience with visualization or reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or similar). - Exposure to Python or R is an asset. - Experience in P&C insurance or reserving is strongly preferred.
