Company DescriptionAosom Canada Inc., a rapidly growing eCommerce company in the home and furniture industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full ownership of building our new warehouse facility from the ground up. This role requires a senior-level leader who can coordinate design, construction, quality control, and operational readiness, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.Job Responsibilities:Serve as the overall project lead for the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of a new warehouse facility.Oversee the full project lifecycle: design review, permitting, construction progress, inspections, QC, vendor management, and final handover.Liaise daily with architects, engineers, designers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure project execution meets specifications.Track project timelines, identify delays or risks early, and implement corrective measures.Conduct regular onsite walkthroughs to monitor construction quality, safety, and contractor performance.Coordinate with internal warehouse operations, logistics teams, and senior leadership to ensure the new facility meets operational needs.Prepare weekly progress reports, project documentation, and status updates for Aosom Canada leadership and headquarters in China.Lead cross-functional project meetings and ensure transparent communication between all parties.Oversee installation of racking systems, equipment placement, utilities setup, workflow planning, and readiness for go-live.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction or industrial facility projects, ideally for warehouses, distribution centers, or logistics operations.Strong technical understanding of construction processes, industrial building standards, and quality assurance.Proven ability to manage designers, engineers, general contractors, and subcontractors.Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills; hands-on site management experience required.Strong reporting skills and ability to present updates to senior executives and overseas teams.Mandatory: Full professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English. Candidates without bilingual proficiency will not move forward in the hiring process.PMP, P.Eng, or similar certifications are considered an asset.
