- Before applying to this posting, please review in detail and self-assess your eligibility.PwC Canada is sourcing for a Secret (Level II) security cleared, Senior ABAP Developer Consultant.Role: Senior ABAP Developer ConsultantDuration: Upon-Start until March 31st, 2026, plus additional extension(s) potentially up-to 2-yearsLevel of Effort (LoE): Full-Time / 37.5 hours per dayActive Security Clearance: Secret (Level II), issued by the Canadian Federal GovernmentProject Description: PwC Canada's SAP Practice require a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant, to act as a part of PwC's internal SAP Practice on an ongoing SAP ECC6 system project with our Canadian Federal Government client, leading as subject matter experts and to provide ongoing support as required.PREFERRED CANDIDATES:Must either, offer experience with Information Steward (aka InfoSteward), or at least be willing to quickly learn how to use this tool.Preference for those who also offer experience with SAP PI/PO.MANDATORY PREREQUISITE:Active security clearance, issued by the Canadian Federal Government, at Secret (Level II).The eligibles candidate resume must provide a minimum of ten years (120 months) of mixed experience performing the following tasks and duties:Assisted in preparing technical specifications by providing accurate estimates based on complexity analysis, contributing towards realistic project timelines.Supported end-users during go-live periods, addressing any issues promptly to minimize disruptions to daily operations.Collaborated with functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for complex scenarios.Participated in performance tuning initiatives, identifying bottlenecks within the system landscape and proposing corrective actions.Resolved critical production issues with effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.Performed thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables and reduce potential defects.Implemented security measures within the ABAP code to safeguard sensitive data from unauthorized access.Integrated external systems with SAP applications through Web Services and IDoc processing techniques for seamless data exchange.Designed deployment automation solutions to expedite implementation of SAP solutions.IMPORTANT:Submit a detailed resume in MS Word file format.Only qualified candidates will be contacted.No staffing agencies will be considered.PwC Flex Resources Recruiting is a division of PwC Management Services LP.We recruit for Professional Consultants for both the Private and Public sector across Canada.
