Location: Toronto Eligibility: Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident only (ITAR / Controlled Goods Program)Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step in your aerospace career?We are supporting a leading aerospace systems manufacturer seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in the development, certification, and assurance of advanced electrical and electro-optical hardware for airborne applications.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, understands regulatory requirements, and is ready to take ownership of complex aerospace design projects.What You’ll Be DoingIn this senior, hands-on engineering role, you will:Lead the design, development, and verification of electrical and electro-optical hardware for aerospace platforms.Oversee design assurance activities in alignment with TCCA and FAA certification requirements.Interpret and apply aerospace electrical regulations, standards, and environmental compliance requirements.Create and approve electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering documentation.Develop, review, and validate system and hardware requirements.Support test planning and execution, including unit testing, system integration, environmental qualification testing.Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and design improvements.Collaborate closely with systems, software, and mechanical teams to ensure robust and certifiable designs.Support technical reviews, audits, and certification activities with internal and external stakeholders.
