System design includes:RFEPCControl electronicsPackagingThermalReliability (FMEA, Worst Case Analysis, etc.)Radiation susceptibility (TID, TNID, SEE) on EEE componentsEMI/EMCKnowledge of Relevant Industry Standards: The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of and apply:MILSPECsECSS standardsNASA standardsDocumentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation including:Development plansRisk management documentsTest plans and proceduresComprehensive test reports to meet MIL, ECSS, and NASA standardsCollaboration:Work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient transformation of design into hardware with minimum iterationsProvide clear technical documentation and guidance across different engineering disciplinesServe as a technical point of contact during internal/external design reviews and compliance evaluationsSimulation & Tools: High level of skill and familiarity with software tools such as:SystemVueADSHFSSMATLABSPICE simulationsQualifications:Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or a related field) from a recognized institutionPreferred: Ph.D.A minimum of 8 years’ experience in electronic systems engineering, with a strong focus on complex RF architecture, analysis, and documentationRequired Skills Extensive experience in systems architecture, with a proven record of designing and analyzing complex systemsBroad technical knowledge including:RF, Power Conditioning, and Control electronicsMechanical, structural, and thermal design principlesPreferred SkillsManagement of complex hardware/software integration projects related to space, aerospace, or defenseStrong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers
