You'll have a critical role in preparing, managing & executing cardiopulmonary bypass & advanced support modalities for patients of all ages. In this dynamic role, you will deliver lifesaving cardiopulmonary support, including extracorporeal life support (ECLS) & longterm ventricular assist device (VAD) management. Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP) Certification (CPC) within two years of start date is required, however, in lieu of such, American Board (ABCP) Certification (CCP) may be considered prior to obtaining CSCP. Perfusion students are welcome to apply given successful completion of their CSCP with Perfusion Certificate provided within 30 days of start date. Continuing education and maintenance of CSCP educational credits. Strong interpersonal and problemsolving skills required. Working oncall shifts is a requirement of this position.
