Hiring decisions are based on equal opportunities across each team.About the ProjectCross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is a Bouygues Construction Canada Inc., Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas Canada Ltd., Pomerleau BC Inc. and Arcadis Canada Inc. general partnership that has been selected to collaboratively deliver a new, eight-lane immersed tube tunnel that will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. The new tunnel will have three vehicle lanes and one dedicated transit lane in each direction, with a separated active transportation corridor for cyclists and pedestrians.Position OverviewThe Temporary Works Coordinator is responsible for implementing and adhering to a procedure based on standards and policies, which defines the procedural control and management of Temporary Works on the Project, specifically regarding identification, design and verification. The Temporary Works Coordinator oversees the production of deliverables from designers, provides technical support, and ensures that Temporary Works meet the project requirement.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage the Temporary Works (TW) register throughout the execution of the projectValidate the risk category according to the risk assessmentReview the design briefs produced by the Methods team and ensure they are completeInitiate and oversee the procurement process for TW DesignersParticipate in the development of the contract with the TW Designers and formalize change orders when necessaryOrganize kick-off meetings with TW DesignersMonitor the production of deliverables during the design phase and ensure they meet the project requirementsEnsure that risk prevention principles related to health and safety through design are appliedEnsure that the design meets the project needs, that the assumptions made are aligned with specifications and standards, and that the technical information provided is completeEducation, Qualifications, Skills, and CompetenciesHold a full engineering license from EGBCHave at least 5 years of relevant experience in similar positionKnowledge in AutoCAD is an assetExcellent technical knowledgeStrong analytical skillsStrong organizational skills, with the ability to identify priorities and meet deadlinesInitiative and results-oriented mindsetAbility to work collaboratively with various stakeholdersAptitude for clearly communicating technical issues in high-quality oral and written languageAbility to synthesize information and establish connections between key elementsSound judgment in decision-makingRigor and attention to accuracy, precision, and complianceWhy You Should Apply• Up to 5% RRSP matching.• Career advancement, training, and education opportunities.• Travel allowance.• Four weeks vacation.The expected salary range for this opportunity is $94,000 – $127,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location.
