Job title: IT Project ManagerPeriod : 12 monthsLocation : Toronto, Ontario Work Mode : Hybrid – 3 daysJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage end-to-end technology projects across the full project lifecycle. This role is responsible for project planning, scope definition, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and delivery of high-quality software and business application solutions. The ideal candidate excels in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder communication, and ensuring all project management standards and methodologies are consistently applied.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, track, and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and scope for multiple IT initiatives.Oversee and allocate project resources, including staffing, coaching, and motivating team members.Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define business and technical requirements.Lead development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.Define test plans and ensure solutions are thoroughly validated prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Facilitate and coordinate the UAT process, including rollout plans, procedures, and end-user readiness.Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to project sponsors and leadership.Ensure adherence to project management and systems development methodologies.Provide regular status updates and present to steering committees, stakeholders, and senior leaders.Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.PMP/PMI certification strongly preferred.5–7 years of proven experience in IT project management.Strong leadership, people management, and team-building skills.Demonstrated ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.Quick learner with the ability to understand and translate business processes.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of the organization.Strong experience in risk assessment, issue management, and applying project management principles.Proven success delivering technology and business application solutions in large-scale, multi-platform environments.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
