POSTING DATE: December 8, 2025 CLOSING DATE: December 18, 2025 POSITION TYPE: Non-Permanent (Short Term, 6-month contract) Al-Pac) is seeking a Warehouse Technician to work out of our mill site near Athabasca Alberta. This position receives and dispatches goods on/off the baleline and warehouse floor, loading product into rail cars and trucks, rail car shunting for chemical delivery, car loading, and train preparation. The anticipated contract period for this role is January 1, 2026 June 01, 2026 . Our mill is located near the communities of Athabasca, Boyle & Lac La Biche. Safely load, unload, move, and store materials, equipment, and finished products using forklifts and other material-handling equipment into trucks and trailers. Ensure accurate recording of data in SAP for the execution of shipments in a timely manner. Prepare and verify bills of lading to ensure proper documentation for transport and delivery. Operate and move railcars, including chemical cars for the fibreline. Maintain general track safety by clearing crossings, ensuring site road control (traffic control), and collaborating with CN. Maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (SAP). Process bills of lading, input and finalize batch entries, and complete rail car entries within SAP to ensure accurate tracking and documentation for shipments. Create and manage purchase requisitions in SAP for warehouse supplies and materials. Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and procedures, ensuring the safe operation of warehouse equipment. Follow health, safety, and security (HSS) protocols to minimize risks. Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and material handling tools. Participate in team meetings to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or material handling experience is considered an asset. Valid forklift operator certification. Safety certifications (WHMIS, First Aid) are an asset. Ability to work within a team on a rotation shift involving days, nights, week days and weekends. Ability to understand and operate mechanical systems and equipment used in warehouse and rail operations. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks related to warehouse operations, including lifting and handling materials. Knowledge of SAP, warehouse management systems, and other relevant software for inventory management and reporting. Strong problem-solving skills and is capable of addressing warehouse operational challenges and finding practical solutions. Basic Knowledge of Logistics and Transportation.
