Requirements: Post-secondary education in construction management Estimating courses completed Experience with an estimating software Experience with Bluebeam will be prioritized Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to interpret architectural drawings Ability to read/interpret architectural specifications Previous estimating experience will be prioritized Soft Skills Excellent Communication Professional, friendly, and polished verbal and written communication Exceptional organization skills Ability to quickly learn estimating software applications Strong ability to multi task High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail Responsibilities: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing flooring estimates + document administration for construction projects. Duties include: Project Administration Maintain accurate project files, records and project status Manage project submittals Project Estimation Flooring Organize and balance tender closing schedules Read scope of work, analyze drawings and establish areas for pricing by management Prepare takeoffs for flooring submit to management for pricing prepare and send quotations ~ Liaising with customers in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner
