The general duties of the Harvester/Pickers are to Harvest the mushrooms following the Supervisors instructions. The Harvester position includes harvest hand typically harvest the mushrooms upon shift work upon availability as chosen by the worker either morning, day or evening.) Upon completion of the daily picking schedule, they are also responsible for the sanitation of all equipment used during the picking, this shall include knives, ladders, trolleys, hangers and buckets. Once the picking has been completed for the day the Harvester-Pickers will clean the room. Harvester Labourer may time to time be responsible for other general labourer duties for direct preparation of the crop, irrigation and other specialty crop farm practices.
