Position Summary To provide customer service by coordinating the activities of associates to complete assigned handheld terminal activities. Ensuring a zoned and stocked sales floor and offering assistance to meet the customers shopping needs. This will be accomplished by maintaining and recovering merchandise all in a safe and clean environment. This Department Manager will function as a lead of a team to strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and customer traffic patterns. What youll do - Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products and services, locating merchandise and helping with purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate. - Delegate, assist and followup on the completion of Customer Availability Process tasks Section Work, Capping bins, Stocking picks - Delegate, assist and followup on the completion of price changes and feature sets - Delegate, assist and followup on modular completion in assigned area - Delegate and support with coverage in required areas on the sales floor as needed, support with recovery and zoning activities. - Contributes to a safe, clean and hazardfree work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure and free of debris. - Ensuring associate breaks are taken in accordance with coverage. - Training, developing and offering feedback to associates. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.85. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
