Role: Software Developer (C#/.NET) Real-Time Image-Guided Surgical Navigation | Advanced 3D Technology Location: Anywhere in Canada (Remote within Canada) Salary: Up to CAD $120,000 + Benefits + Potential EquityOur client is an innovative medical technology company developing real-time image-guided surgical navigation software used by clinicians worldwide. Their solutions support safer, more precise dental and surgical procedures, and as part of a small, highly skilled R&D team, your work will have a direct impact on patient outcomes.This is a high-ownership role reporting to the VP of R&D, where you will shape core product capabilities and help advance next-generation navigation technology. What Youll Do Build and ship features end to end: design implement test review release support Work at the intersection of 3D geometry, imaging, and healthcare Develop and integrate algorithms for image processing, analysis, and navigation workflows Build responsive desktop UIs using C#/.NET, WPF, and WinUI Elevate code quality through testing, reviews, profiling, and clean documentation Collaborate closely with clinicians to translate real-world workflows into robust software What Theyre Looking For Strong C#/.NET development experience (5+ years preferred, flexible for exceptional talent) Experience building desktop UIs for complex workflows, ideally using XAML (WPF or WinUI) Solid 3D math skills: linear algebra, coordinate transforms, geometry Ability to independently break down ambiguous problems and drive solutions A proactive builder mindset with high accountability and attention to detail A relevant degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or similar is valued, and we are also open to strong graduates who can demonstrate real programming experience and capabilityIf youre motivated by meaningful engineering challenges and want to build software that clinicians rely on every day, lets connect.
