ABOUT WEEKEND HOCKEYWeekend Hockey Tournaments delivers professionally organized, high-energy hockey events designed for players, families, and fans who love the game. We host youth and adult events across North America, bringing together teams of all levels for a fun, fast-paced weekend of hockey. We run over 80 events a year and are rapidly growing in the market. We are looking for a new or experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the team. DUTIES Assisting with planning and the execution of events.Identify the event's requirements and expectations for each event.Assist with managing all event set-up and follow-up processes.Assess an events overall success and submit findings.Oversee inventory, materials, and logistical preparationMaintain accuracy of information across internal and public platforms.Assist with travel or accommodation coordination. QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in sports tournaments, events, or large-scale logistics Post secondary education in Sport Management or other related fieldsUnderstanding of schedules, divisions, rosters, and team communicationsManaging checklists, tracking deadlines, organizing documentsCommunication skills - dealing with coaches, parents, teams and arenasHaving played hockey is considered an assetPlease send resume to: Lucas ZitmanisAssistant [email protected]
