Were currently seeking an experienced BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE ANALYST to support our client, a leading Crown corporation in Saskatchewans natural gas sector. This is a full-time, onsite contract position based in Regina, Saskatchewan, supporting the Digital, Technology & Security (DT&S) group. The BI Analyst will transform complex datasets into actionable insights and support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.Location & Work HoursLocation: Onsite Regina, SaskatchewanStart Date: January 2026 (preferred)Duration: Through March 31, 2027, with up to four automatic one-year renewals (15 months)Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CSTFunctional AreaDigital, Technology & Security (DT&S) responsible for IT project delivery, enterprise architecture, business applications & analytics, infrastructure, and security initiatives.MandatoryRequirementsMinimum 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence or closely related roleDegree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, OR 10+ years equivalent experienceAbility to work full-time onsite in Regina, MondayFridayDesired Experience & SkillsAdvanced SQL development and optimizationExpert-level Power BI, Power Query, DAXCloud expertise: Power BI Service, Microsoft Azure, DatabricksKnowledge of Lakehouse architecture, Delta format, star schema modelsStrong data integration experience across legacy and cloud systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsFamiliarity with data governance, content management, and compliance standards (e.g., PIPEDA)Ability to present complex insights clearly to diverse audiencesTypical Responsibilities / DeliverablesPresent analytical findings to business and technical stakeholdersGuide business units through BI solution design and implementationDesign and implement BI and data solutions supporting digital transformationDevelop and optimize SQL queries, reports, and scriptsOversee integration and visualization of data from legacy systemsIdentify and mitigate technical risksSupport data governance and complianceEnsure high-quality BI delivery across reporting environmentsAbout the RoleThis fully onsite in Regina Saskatchewan.
