Based in Markham, our modern facility is home to a dynamic team working on cutting-edge photonics technology. We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is driven, technically proficient, and excels at both customer communication and solution-based selling. If you're passionate about technology and enjoy engaging directly with customers and engineers, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesSell laser components and systems, including laser markers, beam profilers, spectrometers, and analyzers providing technical guidance throughout the sales.Lead both pre-sales and post-sales activities, maintaining strong technical communication with customers throughout the sales cycle.Conduct market research and pursue new sales opportunities.Deliver product training, technical presentations, and ongoing support to customers.Collaborate with the engineering team to provide customized technical solutions and quotations.Drive revenue growth while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.QualificationsDegree in Engineering/Physics or a related technical discipline, with experience in technical sales.Strong understanding of customer requirements and the ability to translate them into effective technical and business solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach and strong team collaboration skills.Willingness and ability to travel (12 conferences in the U.S. and 1 in Europe per year).Deep understanding of target markets, key industry players, and project cycles.Legally eligible to work in CanadaWhat We OfferOpportunity to work with a dynamic, forward-thinking team in a growing technology company.The ability to make a visible impact and contribute directly to company success.Competitive compensation, health, and medical benefits.Performance-based sales commission.Access to a modern facility and advanced product portfolio.An on-site basketball court and gym.
