Senior Planner / Scheduler (ICI Projects) GTACompensation$130,000 $150,000 base salary + benefits/bonus LocationGreater Toronto Area (hybrid / site-based as required)The RoleWere hiring a Senior Planner/Scheduler to lead scheduling and planning across ICI (Industrial, Commercial & Institutional) construction projects in the GTA. Youll build and control CPM schedules from pre-construction through closeout, partnering closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, owners/consultants, and trade partners to keep projects predictable, proactive, and on track.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop baseline CPM schedules and manage updates through the full project lifecycleOwn schedule controls: critical path, constraints, milestone management, and change impactsRun progress update cycles (weekly/biweekly): status validation, logic checks, and variance analysisIdentify schedule risks early and create recovery plans tied to execution (not just dates)Support pre-construction and tender planning with sequencing, procurement inputs, and schedule narrativesProduce clear reporting for stakeholders: lookaheads, milestone dashboards, and forecast-to-completeSupport delay/change documentation where required (impacts, fragnets, schedule narratives)Qualifications8+ years in construction planning/scheduling with strong ICI exposure (GTA market preferred)Skilled in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project (P6 preferred where client-driven)Strong understanding of construction sequencing, procurement/long-leads, and field coordinationConfident communicator who can challenge assumptions and align teams around a realistic planNice to HaveLean/pull-planning experience (Last Planner)Claims / time impact analysis exposureExperience scheduling live/occupied environments (healthcare, institutional, etc.)What Success Looks LikeSchedules are logic-driven, updated consistently, and trusted by the field and PM teamRisks and constraints are visible early, with actionable mitigation plansStakeholders get reporting thats accurate, concise, and decision-ready
