Job Description: **Were a naan traditional company** **Summary** Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Director, this role is focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier selection and on-boarding, RFP/RFQ processes, supplier management for packaging components. Unleashing Your Potential. - Competitive compensation, employee bonus program. - Health benefits & a generous flexible medical/health spending account with EAP. - RRSP company matching program. - Tuition reimbursement program. - Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping etc. **Responsibilities** - Collaborate with the Product Launch Team (PLM) and packaging suppliers to source packaging components as specified - Launch RFQs as necessary, for existing packaging components - Strong negotiating skills based on in-depth research of each packaging category; continuously update the total cost of ownership - Follow strict food safety regulations for supplier onboarding; collaborate with the Supplier Quality Standards team at FGF for supplier approval - Responsible for supplier management (this includes OTIF, quality performance, monitoring production capacity, continuous improvement with direct impact on efficiency) - Continuously search for the right opportunities for cost reduction; work with internal teams (R&D, Product Lifecycle Management, Production, Quality, etc) to implement such changes - Become subject matter expert; present market analysis as required to other FGF teams - Comply with internal requirement of storing sourcing files and data **Qualifications** - Minimum 2 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement or Sales - Experience in negotiation of large dollar value contracts - Post-secondary education in Business - Intermediate to Advanced Excel level - Experience to work with large volume of RFP/RFQ - Strong knowledge of MS Office, Powerpoint, Outlook - Experience with an ERP/MRP processes, preferable - Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization both internally and externally in both written and oral form - Excellent time and project management skills **What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?** Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
