Required Skills: Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics with a focus on electrical systems3-5 years of experience and strong knowledge of electric motor controllers, electric motors, and applicationsExperience in a customer-focussed, technical support or electrical application engineering roleExperience or passionate interest in electrical vehicle powertrain design and integration would be an assetGood understanding of the functional safety of electric motors and the ability to troubleshoot electrical system failureExperience working with business customers to gather specifications and provide solutions for their product developmentHands-on experience with wiring, installing and troubleshooting electric vehicle control and traction systemsStrong customer focus with a sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlinesStrong interpersonal and communications skills with a focus on providing top notch serviceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust have or working on obtaining a Professional Engineer designationAbility to travel internationally, occasionally, as requiredKey Responsibilities:Maintain detailed familiarity with company products and technologiesGather and understand Customers' product requirements: assist in developing Scope of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFP) etc.Provide technical support and consultation for the design and implementation of electric motors and controller systems for customer products.
