In this role, you will drive M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships aligned with product and technology roadmaps. You will partner with Product, Finance, Engineering, and Executive teams to accelerate innovation, expand capabilities, and shape long-term growth. This role is a key strategic driver in identifying opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting enterprise-wide initiatives.**What Youll Do*** Lead all phases of M&A and strategic investments including sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, negotiation, and transaction closing.* Analyze strategic objectives and industry trends to identify and pursue companies or technologies aligned with organizational priorities.* Work closely with leadership to define and refine strategy, including build-buy-partner decisions.* Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform deal logic and strategic decision-making.* Build and maintain relationships with investment banks, VCs, founders, and internal cross-functional teams.* Develop executive-ready frameworks, business cases, and board materials.* Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships and joint ventures.* Act as an advisor to product leaders on strategic decisions.* Track innovation and startup activity and conduct competitive benchmarking and ecosystem mapping.**Basic Qualifications*** 8+ years of professional experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a combination thereof.* Demonstrated track record of executing end-to-end M&A and investment transactions.* Strong analytical skills in financial modeling, valuations, and quantitative analysis.* Excellent communication and influence skills with experience engaging senior leadership and external deal parties.* Demonstrated ability to evaluate technology opportunities.* Negotiation experience and ability to drive deals through sourcing, closing, and integration.**Preferred Qualifications*** Education: College/University degree* Self-starter attitude with the ability to set agendas, push initiatives, and own results.* Strong product intuition and understanding of technical concepts and architectures.* Expertise in valuation and ROI analysis for early-stage and growth-stage technology companies.* Familiarity with emerging technology trends and startup ecosystems.**Location:** TorontoThe hiring base salary range for this position is $133,400 to $183,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individuals knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity, and market alignment.
